 In order to win our Award ...
The basic rules for all sites that apply are simple.
We are not easily impressed by hi-tech acrobatics, but by feeling the
warmth of your heart and your individuality.
- Sites must not contain or lead to by link or other means to any
content that is not Family or child Safe.
- Your site should it win and award, must display the award in an
easy to view location within your site.
- Sites found not having displayed awards will be removed from our
Winners list.
- Please link our Awards Back to this site , so that others may
apply.
- Sites must be of original content and offer something of
educational, Spiritual, Inspirational, Humorous, graphic or poetic
Value, or Service.
- They may not be a sites made up of all or that the majority of
content are "links".
- Sites must be at least 3 pages to be considered a site.
- You must provide a correct and working email address.
- It is "Not" required that you sign to our other webprojects,
however joining will boost your site a great deal.
- Joining or not joining our web services will have no reflection
on your eligibility for winning an award.
- Thus, if you do win an award, linking back to the winners list
is a must.
Purpose and General Criteria
 The purpose of our awards program is intended primarily to offer
acknowledgement and or appreciation towards the dedicated efforts of
artistic, and creative expressions found on the web. Sites that we
feel are an asset to all by their existence on the world wide web.
We do not proclaim to be judges in regards to what information is,
or is not an asset. But we do believe that, to be "something" that
reflects a betterment towards life in some way.
We at ArabicWebmasters Design award these awards based on our interpretations
and the feeling we experience upon our visit.
Sites that offer unselfish acts of kindness, or inspiration towards
fellow man, animal or universe.
That upon our visit "we" "feel" we were given a gift for having made
the visit.
That are in the Spirit of sharing and caring.
Our ArabicWebmasters Awards program though we do offer Awards to sites of
extensive HTML knowledge with web standards in regards to fast load
times, easy navigation, and no errors.. Our initial intent was and
is to honor and acknowledge the dedication and artistic and or
creative efforts and or expression in the presentations of various
information's and or personal reflections, in either informative, or
artistic formats.
Extensive HTML knowledge is not a main criteria.
Basic Criteria
 Sites "Must", offer more than a "text book style" of presentation
of information on a subject matter, or lists of links.
Sites that "throw" in a touch of personal that upon our visit we end
up feeling was added to the site with the purpose of falling within
the guidelines of an Awards Program, will not be considered as
having met our guidelines.
Sites must show some sort of individualism.
All Sites must contain proper credit for the Authors, and or
Artist's for any works that appear on the site.
Or if that of free domain, an explanation of such, and or in search
of owner.
All Sites MUST be Child, and Family Safe in accordance with Safe
Standards set by scale for viewers of the Web
Awards will NOT be awarded to Any Site that is found to either link
to or contains any information in any form in regards to, or the
promotion of the following (with the exception of causes, victim
support, or education against):
- Sites found to contain any information in any form,
comments, photographs or graphics that pertain to the promotion
of any type of inhuman treatment of any living being.
- Sites that contain pornography or are in pursuit of violence
in any form. (In accordance with set scale for family and
children viewers guidelines available at Safe Surf )
- Sites that promote in any form, prejudice, hate, or abuse of
any kind.
- Site that offer extensive knowledge in forms of violence or
the building of any type of fire arms or with the intent of
providing education of others towards inhumane, or illegal
practices, and or towards the expense of, or for the purpose of
harm towards any innocent persons and or animals.
- Sites that are considered not safe for family or child
viewers
Advanced Criteria
- No Spelling Errors
- No Broken Links
- Easy Navigation
- Fonts easy size, color and style to read
- Good color contrast
- Sites with music must have a way for the viewer to turn music off,
without the use of their own browsers "stop" button.
- "If" used, Good use of animation, Java, or Flash. Not "over" used.
- Graphics must be in relation to site content.
- Pages must flow in design.
- Graphics must be original, or credit to artist.
- Easy Access to web master and or owner of site
Disclaimer & Private Policy Statement
Information collected from applicants of "Awards", programs,
or submitters of poetry, photography, Art Work, Graphics, or any
persons with whom any information is acquired, will only be used
for its intended purpose.
 Disclosure
Statement:
No information will be given to any third parties or agencies.
Information Storage and Usage Statement:
No personal information will be stored on this site. With the
exceptions of information that "is" intended for that purpose.
All other information, received from applicants and or
submitters, will be deleted when they are no longer required.
E-Mail address will be maintained in a separate address book in
regards to personal articles having been acquired for the
purpose of publishing. Submitters address's will not be given
out, sold , or distributed by means of bulk mail to any other
party.
Under no certain terms will submissions of any type, or award
applications accepted by minors under the age of 14 without the
consent of legal guardian or parent. All application or
submission requests of children and or parent or guardian will
be verified to the best of our ability though means of email,
and telephone.
Photographs of children may not be submitted without Adult
parent or legal guardian's verified consent of any child under
the age of 17.
Problems & Errors
 On
rare occasion we "have" received applications, that the provided email
address would not function for us.
If you have applied, and have not heard from us, please email us with a
working email address and we will get back to you.
Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive your award, if you have not heard
from us within that period, please email us, It may be that we were
unable to reach you . Sites that have not won our award, may reapply
after the 60 days with any corrections or changes having been made.
Though we do strive to respond to all applications. We can not guarantee
responses to all sites that have not met "basic" critera or rules.
